Kingsley is an award-winning graphic designer, illustrator and artist based in London. Crazy for comics, fanatic about films and inspired by African art, Kingsley is recognised for both his commercial and gallery work.  Kingsley plays an active role in Christ Church,  You may have seen some of his work at Christmas and Easter.


SEVEN The next Seven Service is on 13th October 7pm in Church. This this week we will be looking at the gift of Hospitality and the service will be followed by a social in church with pizza!  Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm.


Service of Memories – Sunday 20th October @ 4pm – A time of reflection following loss or bereavement.  Please feel free to come along and invite anyone who might benefit from this service.  For more details please speak to Rachel [email protected]


JOIN IN!  Monday 28th October and Tuesday 29th October. Event for parents/carers and children to come to together with bouncy castle, soft play, games, crafts, Bible story and café.

Baptism and Confirmation – On Sunday 3rd November at 6pm we are having a confirmation service with the option to also be baptised. If you would like to make this public declaration or if you are just wanting to explore this further then please speak to John or Jess. 


Rekindling - Thursday 7th November 7:30 pm Church Centre  - Hosted by Dave BrettA space for dads of those with additional needs (male carers also welcome). Riding Lights (Christian Theatre Company) is performing Cups on a String at St Andrews, Stanstead Abbotts on Wednesday 16th October at 7.30. Cups On A String | Riding Lights.


Operation Christmas Child 2024 If you would like to fill a shoebox this year, please pick up a leaflet from the back of church for full instructions.  You can also donate items such as knitted hats, A5 sized notebooks, soaps, and small toys (must be new) etc.  Please take your shoebox gifts or fillers to the church centre, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00,  but only during National Collections Week (11th to 18th November).

Autumn is upon us and you will soon get out your winter wardrobe.  Before you put your summer gear away maybe see what you haven't worn, consider offering it to a Pre-loved Item shop.  While you're there, have a look to see if anything draws your attention to buy and be tempted.
In so doing, you will have: reduced landfill, the amount of clothing in circulation, the fuel and water waste in manufacturing processes and contributed to the charity itself, contributed to water conservation, contributed to a good cause

Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church.  The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week.  Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.
