Dear Friends, This Sunday we continue our series on Hope Reawakened -God Promises New Things Isaiah 43:18-21 Join us at 9 am or 10.30 am in church. You can also join us as usual every Sunday at 10.30 am on our Live Stream: https://www.christchurchware.co.uk/live-stream.html Service of the Word -10th October 12:15pm in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12). This service will be on the second Friday of the month. The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God.
SEVEN Service - This Sunday is the Seven Service 12th October – This terms theme is: Encounter, Community and Equipping. Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm Interested in exploring the Christian Faith? – Daytime Alpha will start Friday 17th October – 12:15 – 1:30pm in Church Light sandwich lunch provided Bring yourself, Bring a friend, Spread the word, to sign up Alpha Day-time (17-Oct-2025) · ChurchSuite Events or contact the office. Unpack the basics of the Christian faith together share thoughts in a safe space. Whether you are new or exploring the Christian faith or want to know more about how Alpha works Join In! Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th October. A fun event for parents/carers and children to come to together with bouncy castle, soft play, games, Bible story and café.
Service of Memories – Sunday 19th October 4pm in Church - – A time of reflection following loss or bereavement. Please feel free to come along and invite anyone who might benefit from this service. If your young person wants to go but you don't then please speak to Jess! Christmas Explored- 24th-28th November (set up on 23rd) A couple years ago Christ Church ran an event called Easter Explored. This year we are doing Christmas Explored! How can you be involved? Over the next couple months look out for random prop requests! Consider saving the dates and getting involved as an actor, odd jobs help, helping set up and take down and praying! My research suggests an average 40% of home heating is lost through gaps around windows, doors, loft hatches and floorboards. Extra insulation, and fixing drafts saves energy. Put some draft excluder around windows and outside doors. Last autumn I had to fix our letterbox which was letting in rain and cold air. I recently got thermal linings for some thin curtains. They were cheap and really easy to clip in. Try to think of one thing to do - it saves energy and is good for the planet too. Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave; Testimony, Prayer requests, or words and pictures for the church- please post these in the prayer box.
