SEVEN  This Sunday 13th April and there will be a performance of 'The Long Silence' which is an Immersive drama exploring the question of our suffering and reflecting on Easter.  It is a powerful piece to lead us into Holy Week.  Come and join us  and invite others along too. Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm.


Service of the Word – 11th April , 12:15pm in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12).  This service will be on the second Friday of the month.  The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God.


Good Friday Church Together Walk of Witness departs from Kibes Lane car park at 9am to Tudor Square for the Service

Request for Toddlers – Does anyone have a play pen or gated play pen, or a small book holder that displays children's books in a way that is easy for them to see and select the books which you could donate, Thank you! 


Wednesday Welcome 23rd April  Art and Faith, Richard Jarvest in Church   (monthly Wednesday afternoon get together, includes a short service and social time with tea and biscuits. 


Sad News  - In recent weeks, we have sadly lost several cherished members of our Church Community: Olive Cannon, Brian Watson, Evelyn Taylor, and Pam Robinson. 
Each of them was a pillar of Christ Church Community, dedicating their time and talents in numerous ways. They led with grace, participated across all age groups, supported the church's ministry, and were steadfast in their prayers.  We give thanks to God for their lives and the countless contributions they made over the years. We find comfort in knowing they are now at peace in the presence of our Lord.  Please keep their families and friends in your prayers during this difficult time.

Spring is sprung.... if you have a garden, could you make it more environmentally friendly? Perhaps leave an area of grass uncut, helping the bugs and biodiversity. Or, put in a rainwater butt. I've just bought glyphosate FREE weedkiller for my driveway and paths.  If you don't have a garden, I buy basil and parsley from the supermarket and keep them on my kitchen windowsill, and they feed us for weeks. Or, you could get an allotment - details and application on the council website.


Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church.  The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week.  Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.

FULL ELECTORAL ROLL REVISION 2025
Every year before the Annual Parochial General Meeting a revision of the Electoral Roll takes place. This year the APCM is on 21st May 2025 at 7:45pm
This year, 2025, a completely new Electoral Roll is being compiled. Every person who wishes to have their name entered onto the role, whether entered on the present roll or not, must apply for enrolment.
