Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Philippians 1:3-6 Do you struggle with prayer, never quite sure what to say or how to start? Or maybe you struggle to admit the things that get in the way of being with God, and you don't know how to say sorry to God in prayer? In this series, John looks at Bible passages that help us learn how to pray. This week he looks at Philippians 1:3-6, Paul's prayer of thanksgiving. "I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." |
