LINK / CYFA Re-union Weekend
Sat 17 & Sun 18 May 2008

As part of the Christ Church 150 year celebration, we will be hosting a re-union of LINK & CYFA members from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s,and even the noughties over the weekend of 17 & 18 May 2008.

We would love to send you an invitation and postcard - please contact linkreunion@ccware.org or Christ Church Office, New Road, Ware, Herts, SG12 7BU so that we can send one out to you. Please also help us find any other old LINK members to invite by reminding us of names & contact details. (So far we've found 122+ "old" members to invite).

Weekend Programme

Saturday 17th May 2008 Reunion

Feel free to come to the afternoon (which will be child friendly) or evening, or all - we are sure that we won’t run out of things to talk about! To book seats for the evening meal, please return the card which comes with your invitation.

Of course the juke box and tuck shop will be there! And many old friends! Maybe a game of rounders (80s vs 90s?) if it’s sunny, and do you remember that Bunny game?

FA Cup Final - a screen will be provided to watch the match.

Sunday 18th May 2008 Ex-Youth Service

10:00am A relaxing breakfast served to you by our current teenagers in the church centre.

11:00am "Ex-youth" service in church - the service will include George Cobb (curate in the 1980s) as guest preacher and others.

150 year logo If you would like a bed for the night, let us know & we will see what can be offered.

Why not send a message or a memory on the Postcard which comes with your invitation, better still with a photo? We will have these on display on a large Message Board at the Reunion for others to read.

Memories

Smashing up the piano was the best event ever, especially as, at the moment the neighbours turned up to complain, the curate had the sledge hammer in his hand!
