Christ Church football team is a group of men who come together and play football against other local church teams.We play in the East Herts Christian League against seven other local church teams. We play on Saturday mornings every other week. There is also a league cup, and we occasionally play against other church teams and sometimes non-church teams. Generally, 90% of our teams are church members; the other 10% are made up of our friends or work colleagues. These are invited along as a way of bringing them into the church family.

Last season, Christ Church won the league. Each season we also have a tour of the Isle of Wight, where we take our families, to play football, bond as a group and worship God. We have players of all abilities in the team, and we enjoy the game every week, and winning isn’t our priority.
